Still Water Yoga
Vinyasa, restorative, and mat pilates classes in a calm, light-filled studio.
Our studio
Still Water sits on the eighth floor above Wellington Street — a quiet, light-filled room that feels a world away from the traffic below. We keep classes unhurried and teachers consistent, so the face who welcomed you in week one still knows your practice in year three.
Everything you need is here: mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and tea after evening classes. Come ten minutes early, tuck your phone in a cubby, and take the hour back.

Inside the studio
Meet your teachers

Priya is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher who founded Still Water after fifteen years of practice across the vinyasa and yin traditions. Her morning flows are smooth, breath-led, and welcoming to bodies of every shape and pace. She believes the mat is a place to soften, not to perform.

Noor specializes in restorative yoga and breathwork, weaving long, supported holds with simple pranayama to help students downshift. She came to teaching from a background in mental-health support, and it shows in how gently she holds the room. Her evening classes are a favourite for anyone carrying a heavy week.
Classes & workshops

Restorative & Yin is a slow, deeply supported evening practice of long-held floor poses and quiet breathwork. Bolsters and blankets do the work so your nervous system can truly let go — it is ideal after a stressful day or a hard training week. No flexibility or experience is required; this class meets you exactly where you are. Wear warm, comfortable layers and plan to leave feeling lighter.

Mat Pilates is a precise, core-centred class that builds strength, control, and better posture through classical mat work. Movements are small and deliberate, so you will feel muscles you did not know you had while keeping impact low. Some prior movement experience helps, but modifications are always offered. Bring a mat if you have a favourite; ours are ready if not.

Morning Vinyasa is a breath-led flow designed to wake up the body and settle the mind before the day begins. Sequences build gradually from grounding poses to a gentle peak, with options offered at every step so all levels can practice side by side. Expect steady movement, a few balance challenges, and a restful close. Arrive a few minutes early; mats, blocks, and straps are available to borrow.

Before your first class
No — studio mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters are included with every class. If you prefer your own mat, there is a shelf to store it between visits.
Flexibility is the outcome, not the entry requirement. Start with Restorative & Yin or any all-levels Vinyasa — both offer supported variations of every pose.
Doors close five minutes after the start time so the room stays settled. If you miss the window, your class credit is automatically returned and you can rebook.
The Studio Letter
A short note from Priya once a month — new workshops, schedule changes, and one thing to practice off the mat.
